I remember the announcement of his death on the news and I felt incredibly sad. As the years have gone on and I see repeats of his films I still feel as sad now as I did then. I have come to realise what an incredible talent we lost. I have enjoyed so many of his family films when I was a kid and it is nice that I get to enjoy them with my own children, but I miss him I really do xx

I just watched the great outdoors yesterday and forgot how much I loved John Candy as a kid. You will always be remembered my friend wish you could of stayed alive just a bit longer.

To Me, John Candy was a trend setter. Could anyone have imagined a man, of 6.4 inch and over 300 pounds to establish a name for himself and found a place in the heart of people. To Me, John is the best......

John Candy is very special to me. Often, He would appear for 30 minutes in a movie, However In that 30 minutes, He just mesmorize us. Still remember that flamboyant brother of Tom Hanks in Splash..... He was born with talent. I can't think him, as just a comedian. He has played some fantastic roles, which deserves place in our heart. Men may come and go, but You, John Candy will remain forever, in the hearts of fans....

I am from India. I watched The Great Outdoors"" 5 years, ago. A fat guy, who was acting efforlessly. I became his fan. Then, I enquired about him, on google. I started watching splash, Uncle Buck and Other movies. Now, I honestly Say, There won't be an another John Candy..... He lives forever... What an actor....:)
