I just finished reading a J.C. biography, wanted to find out more, loved seeing the interview with his children thanks for this sight, I will return for sure, as John will always be my favourite actor bar none, he gave my life a little more shine(still does when I see old SCTV or PTA- my faves...). I too shed some tears when I heard of his passing.

John Candy is a constant reminder of my childhood. Even when he put on his serious face, his eyes always smiled. I have a friend who was John's limos driver when he was filming in Canada. My buddy met many famous actors, but known were as wonderful as John Candy. The man had the purest heart... Still unbelievable that a great talent like him was taken away so suddenly. He was a true star here on earth & now a greater star up in the heavens.

saw the special on biography about John. always knew he was someone special. when i am down and so sad or blue, i pick a john candy dvd off my bookcase and watch it and for a little while the sadness is ushered out. might watch one tonight. had to have my cat put to sleep today. am very sad. thank you john candy. I know you're in heaven with my cat. thank you John for giving me a happy heart.

I watched the bio channel last night about John's life. What an amazing and beautiful person with a pure heart. The show reminded me how deeply sadden I was when he passed away and I still am. We were all very lucky to have been touched by this very special man and his talents. Both of his children look like him and have his wonderful happy smile. How amazing is that?God bless his family!

I cried the day I heard of his passing. He always ended his movies with a life lesson. It was the way he was. Heaven is a much happier place....
