John Candy was one of my all-time favorite comedians/actors . I love "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles". And I absolutely loved his work on SCTV, which I grew to love while staying up late at night avoiding or not avoiding my college homework back in the early 1980's.

He was one of the greatest! I love all his films! He had his own style and was a class act in Hollywood. We will never see another like him. Thanks for the memories John!

My favorite movie by, John Candy, would be, "The Great Outdoors." I just bought the movie on DVD. I wore out my VHS version. This movie makes me wish that he was my dad..He seemed to be and incredible man, and without a doubt, the best actor..He is missed, and I wonder what he would be like if he had lived longer..Thanks for all he laughs John
