I'm watching Uncle Buck right now. I've seen all of John Candy's movies countless times. It was such a loss when he died. No one has ever been able to replace him. His laugh....I can still hear it. |

My family & I watched Uncle Buck last night...again... it's so inspirational, histerical, and just damn cute. My hubby & I talk of John as one of the greatest actors as we watch his films with our 18, 10 & 7 y/o girls. We cherish our JC DVD's as well as our old videos. Happy Holidays, JC Fans!! |

love love love John Candy. He was like a father figure to me growing up in the eighties. When he died, it was like a family member had died, so sad, still sad now. He was such a good man and terrific actor. RIP Mr Candy |

You cannot look at John's face and not smile. I never saw him in a movie that did not make me laugh. Even today every time I think of John I smile. He was funny just standing there saying nothing. |

I am from Amsterdam in the Netherlands. I have watched serveral times and tonight again.... planes, trains and automobiles and at the end i am always sad. When i was young i was also a big fan and that stayed over the years. For me he was a very good person within and he could show that on screen very naturaly. I am an artist myself and hope that people will remember me the way i remember John.
With regards,

I have always loved John and his movies. My youngest I have nick-named "Uncle Buck" and it seems to have stuck with him. Looking at John from the back and my youngest there seems to be a resemblence--no pun intended.I certainly do miss his work and he certainly died much to young and had so much more to offer. But I am sure he is keeping everyone laughing up there. |

John Candy was and is one of my all time favorite actors. Im 27 now but grew up watching his movies and still continue to watch them from time to time. My favorite is probably "trains plains and automobiles." Wish I could have met the talented young actor in my life time but glad I still have the funny movies to watch with my family. Miss ya big guy ;) |
