I am from holland and i was watching splash recently where he gave a wonderful performance. and started to think back to the 80's and the wonderful movies i grew up on with John Candy in them. Warm memories i have up until this day that Will never fade away. Rest in peace John Candy. You died to soon.

I still feel sad that John Candy left us at so young an age. Few people could make me laugh just by appearing on screen like John. He may have gone, but the laughter and the joy live on!

I've just finished watching "Uncle Buck" and hadn't seen it in a long time. It was great seeing Mr. John Candy playing the role of Uncle Buck. The movie brought back so many memories of the 80's. This movie still makes me laugh today. John Candy is still missed wholeheartedly. Love you Candyman!!

John Candy made me laugh so hsrd i cried watching"Uncle Buck"and "The Great Outdoors".He made me just plain cry watching"Plains, Trains and Automobiles";ev ery time I watch it.He will be forever missed.
