Uncle Buck, PT & A, Great Outdoors.. Phenominal actor. Just looking at the comments makes me realize everyone feels the same way as I do about John Candy. My 3 YR old son's best medicine is Uncle Buck when he is sick. It's been in his vcr for over 6 months now. He constantly repeats "Kind of..Sort of" (See Bug & Bucks hatchet discussiond for reference.) John you da man!

John Candy was one of my all-time favorite comedians/actors . I love "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles". And I absolutely loved his work on SCTV, which I grew to love while staying up late at night avoiding or not avoiding my college homework back in the early 1980's.
