Hi, all the way from Littleport England. I still watch all John Candys films time and again my two boys love Uncle Buck and cool runnings, but my all time favorite has to be Who's Harry Crumb has me in tears of laughter everytime, he was excellent actor such a sad, sad, loss. RIP i bet he has everyone laughing up there.

John Candy will always be my favorite actor of all time! My favorite film with him is Planes, Trains & Automobiles, although I am also a fan of SCTV, Stripes, Uncle Buck, and so much more!

I love all his movies and was sad to hear of his passing years ago, if he'd been alive today im sure he would have made many more wonderful movies. Your missed everyday.

Thanks for posting that great clip of john playing the drums in Going Berserk. If I ever think of John that's the clip I always think of, him going "Bye Yie Yie Yie Yaaaaaaa" in the high voice. Great site, but you gotta add some more John and the Argos stuff! The CFL is were his heart was! There was a great TSN documentary about him and the Argos last year. Thanks, and RIP Mr Mombo!

I'm a big gut with a baby face, Growing up I always seemed to have hot girlfriends. One of my best friends used to say Larry, It the John Candy Effect that you have. John one the best all time comedy actors ever.

I always think to myself how many more great movies he would have gone on to make had he lived. I can't decide if my favorite movie with him is "Only the Lonely" or "Trains, Planes & Automobiles". Seemed like a sincerely nice person. At least we will always have him on film.

john candy warmed the hearts of everyone in his films and i just wish he was still around today even my kids lewis 9 and arran 7 love his films miss you john you were taken away from us far too soon
