I still tear up sometimes while watching planes train and automobiles thinking about how you're gone now. You remind me of my dad who passed away four years ago so when I see you in a movie it makes me think of him which makes me happy. Even though you were taken from us too young, I am glad that you were taken in your sleep and felt no pain. You will continue to be missed.

Long live the larger than life JC!! Growing up in the 80's in Australia was a treat for his comedy. Faves of mine such as Uncle Buck, Who's Harry Crumb and Great Outdoors still get regular play in our home. Deeply missed and warmly remembered - keep up the great work guys.

John Candy is one of our big screen heroes. We love him in Planes Trains & automobiles, The great outdoors, and our kid's favourite 'Summer rental'. He may not be on this earth anymore but what he's left behind will live forever... RIP JC.

John Candy was a very good and funny actor. He is missed and I pray his family is doing good. You could see in his eyes that he had something good inside of him. I hope he was a Christian so I will see him again.

I think John Candy is a legend ive watched all of his movies ive seen trains planes and automobiles almost thirty times he was a warm caring genuine man he is missed I love all of his movies my favorites are traines Planes and Automibiles and Uncle Buck they always make me laugh.

What a great shame he died so young .....As I travel the world and see J.C in so many movies on Hotel t.vs (the last being Planes ,Trains and Automobiles) I cant help thinking the World is a sadder place without John Candy in it !

Recuerdo a mi Madre (Irma) y a mi Hermano (Rodrigo) que al igual que yo eran grandes admiradores de John Candy. Might sound corny but even after all this time it still leaves a lump in my throat to think John candy's not here anymore....he truly seemed like the kind of guy you would want as a friend or family member... especially if you were to face the "bald headed killer bear of clair county...." lolol.....you were and still are the BEST imho....God bless you and your family forever......thanx for the laughs. gone but never forgotten !!!!
